Crocheters, how are you doing out there??

Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of my time building something new, my course for handmade business owners called The Creative Business Accelerator. It’s a project I believe in deeply, and creating it has pushed me to learn new skills and think about my work in ways I never have before.

But if I’m honest, it’s also meant I’ve had less time to crochet and design than I’d like.

Crochet will always be the heart of what I do, and I miss it when I’m away from it for too long. At the same time, I know this season is temporary.

It’s been hard work, but it’s the kind of work that feels meaningful. The idea that this course could help put creative and earning power into the hands of makers and artists as entrepreneurs is incredibly motivating. That belief keeps me going on the long days.

If you’re in a season right now where you’re pushing yourself more than usual, I see you. Those seasons can be heavy, even when they’re leading somewhere good.

I hope rest, peace, and clarity find their way to you very soon. And until then, I hope you keep finding ways to fill your cup
