Crochet takes the runway at Fashion Week Rochester!

WOW, it’s been a wonderful week on this crochet adventure! This Thursday was the culmination of months of work — presenting my new crochet collection at Fashion Week Rochester!

Fashion shows are a LOT of work, but I love them for a few reasons:

  1. There’s nothing like seeing someone confidently strut their stuff in your designs on the runway. I literally cry every time. Helping others feel gorgeous and find their inner baddie is my “why” for being in the fashion industry, and experiencing it this way is so visceral.

  2. I have the most wonderful team! From the community of diverse models I’ve built, to my fabulous hair and makeup glam squad, to stylists and photographers and fellow designers and more — I LOVE connecting with the creative folks in my city and beyond

  3. Leaning into a theme for my collections encourages me to stretch my creative limits. This year I chose vampire gothic, and it was EPIC! My inner angsty teen was sooo into it. I mean come on, I got to wear black lipstick. It doesn’t get better than that ;)

I’m so grateful for this opportunity, and I already can’t wait until the next one!

Follow my socials for more photos soon, but in the meantime you can watch my video diary here!
